Moving to a pessimistic security model
Many firms are carrying a security model that has not been revisited in 20 years.
Over half of law firms run an open by default access model, primarily because real collaboration patterns are difficult to reverse engineer and systematise. It's also common for things to get misfiled, into personal workspaces they thought were private, for example.
With traditional search, you'd have to go looking to find something you shouldn't see. AI-powered search doesn't care: it will surface confidential information whether you want to see it or not. The open access model is not good enough when an agent can traverse the entire data estate in seconds.
The white paper gives you a roadmap to deploying a modern security model, ready for agentic access.
